Edited by: Emilly Marelor on 15/05/2008 23:54:29 Edited by: Emilly Marelor on 15/05/2008 23:53:26 To justify such a terrible act is madness, but to actually glorify it and salute the sick man who did it is a monstrosity. It is not even the question of attacking the Caldari State as such, but rather showing deep disregard for the value of human life. This was not expected from the Gallente and will surely not go without response. Sadly we have learnt nothing from the cruel history of past wars. Thus we are doomed to repeat that lesson. Originally by: Kahrek Laume The value of life can be calculated in ISK to the Caldari that in itself is a crime far worse than any slaughter, the opposite of love is not hate but apathy and the apathy of the Caldari state for it's citizens is the greatest sin, far greater than even the Amarrian enslaving of the Minmatar as they mostly cared for their slaves.
To calculate the value of life in ISK means to appreciate that life - in a very cynical and degrading way, but still it shows the life somehow matters. To take that life away from civillians and those strugling for peace between nations is a show of disregard and ignorance towards any value of life. Thus, if it was Admiral Noir who caused that atrocity, he showed only how vile he was. Seeing as that event caused cascade of hatred and bloodlust he may have well proven to be the villan of New Eden, not the hero. I pray that the Gallente Federation will take action to ensure that peace is maintained and that the Caldari State will help in that.

Originally by: Kyoko Sakoda It's because of people like you that peace is beyond repair.
It is not, not yet. Ultimately it is peace that we will all arrive to. The question that remains is how many more people have to die before such beasts as those happy for Malkalen tragedy will see reason. Or be no more. Unfortunately at this point it may be true that next step on the road to peace may be a bloody one and not peaceful at all.

Originally by: Kyoko Sakoda I find it harder to believe this every passing day, friend.
The peace, exactly like war, starts in a single human and spreads. It is very easy to get ignited by fear, anger, greed and vanity, plunging into war and chaos. Ironicly when one sees those for what they realy are the perspective changes and with faint belief in peace one fights to put out the inferno of war. Sadly we can already see that this fire is raging in hearts and minds. It is now that we have to fight for peace and prevail. The alternative is to see what sadness and evil war holds for us.

Originally by: Kahrek Laume The number matters not only the result, one man's death changed the flow of an entire conflict, now maybe the death of these few people will change the course of a galaxy.
The change can be for the better or worse. The hero's choice is to make sacrifices for the change that improves something. Making a sacrifice that plunges the whole galaxy to war, condemns people to kill and hurt each other is a choice of a villan. That choice was made by whoever is responsible for the tragedy that stroke New Eden yeasterday.
Originally by: Kahrek Laume You must understand that i hate not a single Caldari because he or she is Caldari but because you are devoid of what makes a man human... free will and the ability to assume the consequences of your actions, instead you assume the consequences of others actions and truly a sadder fate i could not fathom.
That is a way of rationalizing what is evil. Not to have a free will is terrible. But having it and choosing evil, only to try to force it to be good is a lot worse. And that my friend is what you are trying very hard to achieve.

Like you freed those in Ishukone station HQ? Why thank you very much - with all the scraps of free will I have left and the Caldari soul tormented by pointless hecatomb I tell: leave me alone. I want none of your freedom you gibbering psychopath! You disgrace not only your nation, but deaths and missery of thousands in Malkalen.
